The solution is elegantly simple — four corners raised 3-5mm above the plate surface.
When stacked, these raised corners create a small air gap between each plate, preventing the surface-to-surface adhesion that makes stacked plates difficult to separate. The same raised corners serve as natural finger grips — pinch any corner between thumb and forefinger for a secure, comfortable hold that keeps fingers away from hot food. And because the corners are the highest point of the plate, liquid sauces and gravies are contained within the raised perimeter, unable to flow off the edges.
Made from natural sugarcane bagasse and bamboo pulp through wet-press forming, the plate is fully compostable in 90 days and certified FSC, OK Compost, and FDA.
